The old brick walls of the structure will take you back in history, and this place offers a quiet and serene experience, perfect for photography lovers. Then we will get refreshed with the Best Masala Chai, which you will love, and a spicy snack. Afterward, we will walk to the most cultural and peaceful place in Delhi—the Sikh temple. There, you will find peace of mind and will indulge in the culture of the Sikh community (known as the kindest people in India) by volunteering inside the temple kitchen. We kick-start our day at the Chawri Bazaar Metro Station in Old Delhi where an other-worldly charm awaits us. This colorful part of the city has been charming visitors for over three centuries. It encompasses some of the best street-food of the city, age-old bazaars, historical monuments, and numerous religious structures (including the largest mosque of India!). We start our adventure with a walk through the bazaar next to the subway, appreciating the hard-working locals pushing heavy carts through narrow alleys. Continuing our walk, we stop at the 17th century mosque Jama Masjid. Next, we explore the wedding paraphernalia market Kinaari Bazaar. Walking through this captivating street, we stop for a cup of masala chai (the national drink of India!) before savoring the much-loved local snacks Paranthas! I'll take you through a hidden laneway, stopping for photos in front of painted havelis (mansions) dating back to the 19th century. We continue our journey to Khari-Baoli, the largest spice market of Asia! After our unforgettable adventure, we catch the metro/taxi back to your place. It can be started at your preffered time. Situated near a cremation ground in a historic part of Delhi, Yamuna Ghat continues to be in use today. At dawn, the ghat is the site of a majestic gathering of hundreds of seagulls flocking to feed* Here's what we do: 1. Reach the shore & watch a majestic ceremony where we will offer flowers to the river with a traditional prayer 2. Step into a pretty private wooden boat and sail with me to watch from a distance Delhi's biggest Hindu Cemetry, scenes of the Ghats as I unveil you several stories about the river & mythology around it 3. We take a halt in the middle of the river to hop on a tiny island which has an ancient temple. Get introduced to a meditation technique & a private Indian music concert 4. We come back to the shore & have a cup of tea & cookies locally sourced & made in the area.
